Kendall booters top Pembroke; Holley wins

Scoring twice in each half, Kendall posted a 4-1 victory over visiting Pembroke this evening in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Kendall jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Nate Warters and Brahayan Gonzalez but Pembroke cut the deficit to 2-1 at the half.

However, the Eagles put a lock on the victory as Warters completed his hat-trick with a pair of second half goals.

Jeremy Browe added 2 assists and Warters 1 for Kendall as Hunter Menze in goal anchored the Eagles defense.

Kendall is now 2-2 in the league and 4-3 overall.

Holley 5, Attica 0
John Mounts and Andrew Moseman each scored 2 goals and Matt Wilson 1 to lead Holley to a 5-0 G-R victory at Attica.

Holley, which led 3-0 at the half, is now 1-1-1 in the league and 3-1-2 overall.

Girls Soccer
Akron 1, Roy-Hart 0 OT
Jenna Robnett scored the game’s lone goal in overtime as Akron (5-1) nipped Roy-Hart (1-5).

Newfane 7, Barker 0
Emily Foltz and Taylor Heschke each scored 2 goals to lead Newfane (5-1-1) to a 7-0 win over Barker (0-6).

Kendall’s Nate Waters, who scored three goals, battles for control of the ball with Pembroke’s Casey Shaw.
