Kendall booters make it five wins in a row
A lone second half goal proved to be just enough to earn Kendall a narrow 1-0 victory over Attica in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game this evening.
Mike McCue scored the lone goal on a penalty kick with 15 minutes to go in the second half as the Eagles make it five G-R wins in a row. The goal was his 10th of the season.
Jorden Ostrander made 8 saves to earn the shutout in goal.
“It was a battle,” said Eagles Coach Rich Esposito.
Kendall is now 5-0 in the league and 5-3 overall.
In another G-R contest, Byron-Bergen nipped Holley 1-0 in overtime.
