Kendall booters best Pembroke in G-R contest

Kendall opened the Genesee Region League boys soccer season this evening with a 3-1 victory at Pembroke.

Trailing 1-0 early in the second half after a Pembroke penalty kick goal, Kendall rallied to claim the win as Zach Barrett sacred two goals and Mike McCue 1.

In another G-R contest, Wheatland-Chili scored a pair of second half goals, the first coming on a penalty kick, to down visiting Holley 2-0.

This past Friday, Holley downed Newfane 2-0 in a non league contest as Cameron Bates and Caleb Schultz each had a goal and an assist.

Wilson 7, Akron 1

Getting goal production from six different players, Wilson bested Akron 7-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Madelaine Schultz scored 2 goals to lead the scoring parade for Wilson which is 1-0 in the league and Akron 0-2.
