Kendall and Holley post shutout wins

A pair of second half goals earned Kendall a 2-0 victory over host Byron-Bergen this evening as the Eagles evened their Genesee Region League record at 4-4.

Jake Esposito scored the game winner for Kendall when he tallied on a diving header with 10 minutes to go in the second half.

Michael McCue added the clinching goal with just 45 seconds remaining off an assist from Joe Nettles.

Mike Sammons made 8 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Holley 3, Pembroke 0

Holley improved to 6-2 in G-R competition by blanking visiting Pembroke 3-0 in a contest called early due to thunder and lightning.

Cameron Bates scored two goals and Nathan Nothnagle one for Holley,

Kayden Servais earned two assists and Nothnagle one for the Hawks.
