Kendall, Holley girls post soccer wins; Medina wins in field hockey and Albion in volleyball

Kendall blanked host Alexander 5-0 and Holley shutout visiting Lyndonville/Medina 2-0 today in Genesee Region League girls soccer action.

Hailee Mitchell scored the three goal hat-trick to lead the way for Kendall as Alezya Brown and Grace Levett each added a goal.

Brown, Madison Jacob, T’Mia Kitchings and Lizzy Woodams all chipped in with assists for the Lady Eagles which led 3-0 at the half.

Katherine Pearson made 3 saves to earn the shutout in goal for Kendall which improves to 9-2 in the league and 10-4 overall.

Halee Passarell scored from Kayleigh Neale and Julia Smith off an assist from Passarell to lead the Holley offense.

Sarah Klatt earned the shutout in goal for the Lady Hawks which improve to 6-2-3 in the league and 8-3-3 overall.

Medina 5, Kenmore 2
Libby Cook and Micaela Erway both scored 2 goals and Sarah Cochrane 1 for Medina which improves to 6-4 with the 5-2 Niagara-Orleans League win at Kenmore which drops to 1-9.

Albion 18-25-22-25-25, Newfane 25-16-25-16-9
Albion outlasted host Newfane in five sets to improve to 2-6 in N-O volleyball action.

Emani Poole had 5 aces and 2 kills, Sierra Newton 6 aces and 5 kills, Natalie Lathrop 10 kills and 3 aces, Breanda Johnson 20 assists, Isabella Gibbs 5 aces and Logan Conlon 11 digs to lead the way for the Purple Eagles.
