Kendall, Albion, Holley score girls soccer wins

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Kendall’s T’Mia Kitchings, who scored both goals, drives the ball up field as Piper Hyde defends for Oakfield-Alabama/Elba during this afternoon’s game which was won by the host Lady Eagles.

Kendall celebrated Homecoming by posting a 2-0 victory over visiting Oakfield-Alabama/Elba in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this afternoon.

T’Mia Kitchings scored both goals for the Lady Hawks both on long looping shots which came 4 and 25 minutes into the second half.

Kailie Regan erred the shutout in goal for Kendall making 9 saves including a big stop late on a shot from close range.

Kendall is now 4-3-1 overall.

Albion 4, Depew 1

Improving to 7-1 overall, Albion downed host Depew 4-1 in a non league contest.

Nikki Creasey opened the scoring for Albion with a goal off a corner kick.

Abby Scanlan followed up with a pair of goals off assists from Kenzi Hapeman and Emily Harling.

Cami  London then rounded out the Purple Eagles scoring with a goal off an assist from Elisa Bropst.

Holley 4, Attica 0

Emma Brady scored three goals and Sam Bates one for Holley in a 4-0 G-R win over Attica this evening.

Layne Walker made 4 saves to earn the shutout in goal for Holley which improves to 6-2-2.

Emma Quintern moves the ball up field for Kendall as Piper Hyde and Christina Bartholomew chase for the Lady Hornets.
