Kendall boys improve to 8-0

KENDALL – Celebrating Homecoming, Kendall blanked Oakfield -Alabama 2-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Taylor ReQua scored in the first half and Nicole Browe in the second half, off an assist from Heather Blodgett, to spark the Lady Eagles.

Jorden Ammerman earned the shut out in goal as Kendall improves to 5-1-1.

The Kendall boys completed the Hoemcoming sweep by blanking Pembroke 6-0 to stay perfect at 8-0.

Justin Barrett netted two goals for the Eagles as Alex Sutphen and Will Condo both had a goal and two assists.

The Albion girls romped to an 8-0 victory at CSAT this morning in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Mikayla Yaskulski scored four goals to spearhead the Albion attack which also included tallies by Abby Squicciarini, Emily Blanchard, Ally Page and Mariah Elsenheimer.

Albion roared out to a commanding 5-0 first half lead as Yaskulski scored three times, twice off assists from Elsenheimer and once from Squicciarini. Squicciarini also scored from Page, and Blancard from Elsenheimer.

In the second half, Squicciarini assisted on goals by Yaskulski and Elsenheimer and Page scored from Madison Coville.

Albion is now 6-2 and CSAT 1-7 in N-O action.

In one other non league girls contest today, host Pal-Mac blanked Holley 4-0.

In one Genesee Region League boys game on Friday night, Holley nipped Wheatland-Chili 2-1 on a pair of goals by Gabe Mendoza.

The Hawks are now 1-2-1 and 2-3-2 overall.
