Kendall ‘9’ will host sectional opener Sat.
Seeded No. 4, Kendall will host No. 13 Perry in the Section V Class C2 baseball playoff opener at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Kendall, which has won 9 of its last 11 games, brings a 12-4 record into the sectionals while Perry is 3-15.
In Class C1, No. 15 Holley (2-14) will visit No. 2 Oakfield-Alabama (16-3) at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Lyndonville (2-14), which is seeded No. 10 in Class D1, will visit No. 7 HAC (5-9) at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Section V Softball Playpffs
No. 3 seeded Sodus defeated No. 14 Holley 22-10 this afternoon in the opening round of the Section V Class C1 softball playoffs.
Tia Hoffarth had 3 hits and Layne Walker and Leigha Walker 2 each for Holley.
In Class C2, No. 6 Pavilion downed No. 11 Kendall 9-4.
