Kendall ‘9’ scores shutout to go to 14-1
Improving to 14-1, Kendall posted a 9-0 victory over Pembroke in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
Kendall scored two quick runs in the first inning on an RBI double by Colby Hughes and an RBI single by Sammy Conte.
CJ D’Agosinto then upped the Eagles lead to 5-0 with an RBI sacrifice fly in the second inning and a two-run single in the sxith.
Kendall capped off the win with four runs in the top of the seventh on a two-run single by Jonny Conte, a wild pitch and an RBI single by Vinnie D’Agostino.
Nic Cole picked up the win on the mound allowing 4 hits and striking out 11 in six innings of work. Vinnie D’Agostino hurled the final frame giving up no hits and striking out 3.
Notre Dame 10, Lyndonville 0
Liam Burger hurled a one hitter and struck out 8 to lead Notre Dame to a 10-0 G-R win over visiting Lyndonville.
