Kendall ‘9’ returns solid veteran lineup

Looking to keep the momentum from last spring’s 14-6 overall record, Kendall is prepping for the upcoming Genesee Region League baseball season led by a large group of veterans.
That veteran contingent includes seniors Colby Hughes (Catcher) and Gavin Braun (Outfield/Pitcher); juniors Nic Cole (Pitcher/First Base), Jonny Conte (Second Base), Vinnie D’Agostino (Shortstop/Pitcher) and Gio Rodriquez (Outfield); sophomore Mikey Colucci (Outfield) and freshmen Sammy Conte (Third Base) and CJ D’Agostino (First Base/Pitcher).
“I think we’ll be solid,” said Coach Tige Noni. “We lost some kids but we have a good, solid group back.”
The Eagles graduation losses included Louis Conte (Shortstop/Pitcher), James Fox (Outfield/Pitcher) and Jimmie Swift (Catcher/Third Base).
Kendall is scheduled to visit Barker on Monday at 4:30 p.m. and then open the G-R season at home against Pembroke on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
