Kendall ‘9’ edges past Notre Dame 1-0
Staying perfect at 5-0, Kendall nipped Notre Dame 1-0 in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
Colby Hughes, who had 2 hits on the day for the Eagles, drove in the game’s only run with a single in the first inning.
On the mound for the Eagles, Gavin Braun hurled a 1 hitter with 3 strikeouts.
Pembroke 9, Lyndonville 7
Pembroke scored twice in the bottom of the sixth inning on a double by Jacob Johnson and a wild pitch to edge past Lyndonville 9-7 in another G-R contest.
Lyndonville had tied the game at 7-7 with three runs in the top of the sixth highlighted by a two-run double by Lane Woodworth.
Earlier, the Tigers tied the game at 4-4 with 4 runs in the fifth inning on RBI singles by Jacob Pitcher and Landon Markidis and a walk.
Cole Moyle and Colton Smith both had a pair of hits for the Tigers.
