Kendall ‘9’ downs Pembroke
A big five run second inning powered Kendall to an 8-2 victory over host Pembroke this afternoon in a Genesee Region League baseball game.
Cody Spellan had a two-run triple, winning pitcher Justin Barrett a two-run double and Jesse Scarpulla an RBI single to key the decisive uprising for Kendall which was ignited by a pair of walks.
Barrett and Scarpulla both had 2 hits on the day.
On the mound, Barrett scattered 5 hits and struck out 11.
Kendall is now 1-1 in G-R action.
