Kendall ‘9’ bests Pembroke in G-R contest
Kendall bested Pembroke 10-2 in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
The Eagles scored 5 quick runs in the first inning ignited by a single by Colby Hughes and highlighted by a two-run homer by Reuben Marquess.
Marquess and Louis Conte both had 2 hit s on the day.
James Fox picked up the win on the mound allowing 4 hits and striking out 11.
Oakfield-Alabama 8, Lyndonville 3
Lyndonville scored three quick runs in the first inning sparked by singles by Trenton Muck and Jack Whipple but could not cross home plate again as Oakfield-Alabama answered with 4 tallies in the second to move on top to stay.
Muck, who had 2 hits on the day, struck out 5 and allowed 3 hits on the mound for the Tigers.
