Donna Saskowski, executive director of the Arc of Genesee Orleans, accepts a $2,500 check from Jim Kelly, the Hall of Fame quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. Kelly presented checks for $244,773 to different organizations last week that have programs serving disadvantaged and disabled youth in Western New York.

The funds are awarded through the Kelly for Kids Foundation, which has distributed more than $5 million since 1986. The Arc will use the $2,500 to help maintain Camp Rainbow on Townline Road in Ridgeway. The camp serves children with and without disabilities.
