K9 Otto visits Albion 6th, 7th graders

ALBION – Otto, a K9 with the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, visited Albion classrooms last week.
The photo shows Albion Central School Resource Officer Chris Glogowski, left, and Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Cole, who is Otto’s handler. The K9 team spent two days at Albion Middle School with the Grade 7 Service Learning and Grade 6 Citizenship classes.
Cole and Glogowski told students about the many facets of law enforcement before Otto did a drug search demonstration. The activity was a way for students to become familiar with local law enforcement.
