Jr. Wilson sweeps softball doubleheader
Jr. Wilson swept to a doubleheader victory over Poler’s Pub by scores of 21-3 and 9-4 in Medina Women’s Softball ‘A’ League competition Monday evening.
A big 7 first first inning sparked Jr. Wilson in the opener as Jaclyn Rodriguez had a double and a single and Sara Flansburg, Stormi Kruger, Connie Hornquist, Bri Guzdek and Hannah Chaddock all added singles.
Flansburg finished with 3 hits as Rodriguez, Hornquist and Guzdek each added 2.
Likewise in the second game a 4 run first inning sparked Jr. Wilson as Rodriguez, Flansburg and Guzdek all had hits.
