Jr. Wilson II wins by one again
For the second week in a row Jr. Wilson II has scored a narrow one run victory in Medina Women’s Softball League action.
On Monday night, Jr. Wilson II nipped Zambito Realtors 13-12 as a run in the seventh inning on hits by Audrey Woodruff, Audrey Schalck and Randi Maryjanowski provided the margin of victory.
Jr. Wilson II also had a key three run scoring burst in the sixth inning on hits by Laura Valley, Nicki Dresser and Jenn Thom.
Valley finished with a total of four hits and Dresser three as Betsy Fox, Thom and Rachel Preston each had two.
Ryin Moriarity and Britt Anderson both had three hits and Nicole Moore two for Zambito.
