Johnson is Hall of Fame inductee

Albion High graduate Kyle Johnson, who is shown here with his parents Al and Jan Johnson, was formally inducted into the St. Bonaventure University Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Johnson was a four year starting pitcher for the Bonnies from 2000 to 2003.

He holds the school career records for most wins (23) and complete games (16) as well as the single season records for earned run average (1.88 in 2001) and winning percentage (.857, 6-1 in 2002).

He was named an All American and the Atlantic 10 Conference Pitcher of the Year his sophomore year in 2001.

He also earned first team Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors in 2001 and was a second team honoree in 2002.
