Johnson earns Pitcher of the Week honor

Lyndonville High graduate and Tiffin University graduate student Zach Johnson has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference North Division Pitcher of the Week.
Johnson pitched two innings of scoreless ball in relief to get the win in Tiffin’s season opening 17-8 victory over Saginaw Valley.
He allowed no hits and struck out one over the two innings.
Over his three year career at Tiffin to date he has posted a 7-3 record on the mound with 3 saves and has registered 82 strikeouts in 63.1 innings of work on the mound.
Before attending Tiffin he pitched for SUNY Niagara (formerly NCCC).
