Jays top Pirates to cap 9-0 regular season
The Woodroe Realty Blue Jays Beat the Medina Savings & Loan Pirates 7-1 to end the regular season with a 9 -0 record.
Jimmy Dieter went 3 for 3 with 2 singles and 1 double and a RBI, Aiden Wisniewski added a single and a two-run home run, Colton Smith a triple, Brady Christaansen 2 singles and a RBI, Carter Woodworth 2 singles and 2 RBI’s, Aidan Papaj a single and a RBI, and Preston Woodworth a double and a single.
Jimmy Dieter pitched 2 innings and had 3 strikeouts, Aidan Papaj pitched 2 ¼ innings and recorder 4 strikeouts, Preston & Carter Woodworth each added a strikeout in the innings they pitched.
Sawyer Lilleby scored the lone run for the Pirates as he was driven in by Lathan Miller.
Tyler Kroening, Lilleby and Miller had two hits each while Aleks Seefelt and Shane Fearby each adding one.
Seefelt and Kroening were strong on the mound racking up six strike outs in three innings each.
