Contributed Photo – It was a very special season for the Roy-Hart boys basketball team as the Rams ended a 25 year plus long title drought by capturing the Niagara-Orleans League championship with a 10-2 record. It was Roy-Hart’s first N-O title since the 1995-96 season when the Rams shared the crown with Wilson. It was also Roy-Hart’s first outright title since the 1968-69 season when the Rams defeated both Starpoint and Medina in a three-way playoff after the three teams finished the regular season deadlocked at 9-3. The Rams locked up this year’s title by closing the league season with a pair of home court victories. First a 70-52 win over Medina clinched a share of the crown and then a 70-47 victory over Albion locked it up outright.
