Irish post win over Lady Tigers

Improving to 16-1, Notre Dame downed host Lyndonville 65-39 in a Genesee Region League game this evening.

Amelia McCulley scored a game high 28 points, including 8 threes, Avelin Tomidy 19 and Emma Sisson 10 to lead the way for the Irish.

Lorelei Dillenbeck scored 11, Addison Dillenbeck and Ashlee Stephens 8, Haley Shaffer 6, Shelby Boring 4 and Isabella Groves 2 for the Lady Tigers.

Notre Dame built up leads of 18-4 after the first period, 35-13 at the half and 53-27 after three quarters.

McCulley scored 8 in the first, including two threes, 11 in the second, including three threes, and 9 in the third on three threes. Tomidy tallied 6 in both the second and third periods.

Lyndonville, which next hosts Medina at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, is now 12-6.

Pembroke 41, Holley 35
Pembroke took leads of 24-14 at the half and 38-19 at the three-quarter mark in route to posting a 41-35 G-R win over Holley.

Sam Bates took game high scoring honors for Holley with 25 and Ella Peterson led Pembroke with 18.
