Irish post diamond win over Eagles

Leading by a narrow 6-5 margin, Notre Dame scored two unanswered runs in both the sixth and seventh innings to down host Kendall 10-6 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League baseball game.

Kendall closed the gap to 6-5 on a three-run double by Colton Breslawski in the fifth inning.

Breslawski, Zach Vogt and Jeremy Browe each had 2 hits for the Eagles.

Notre Dame had grabbed the lead for good at 6-2 by scoring 4 runs in the fifth inning on 4 errors, 2 walks and a single.

Holley next faces rival Holley at 11 a.m. Saturday in the opening round of the Eagles Tournament. Gananda will take on CG Finney in the other semifinal.

LeRoy belted 3 home runs to key a 7-5 non league win at Holley.

Josh Porter had 2 hits for Holley.
