Irish down Lady Tigers; Lady Rams win

Building up a commanding 24 point (32-8) half-time advantage, Notre Dame went on to down host Lyndonville 56-34 this evening in the season opening Genesee Region League girls basketball game for both teams.

Sofia Falleti scored a game high 22 points as Lucia Fiorentino added 11 and Gianna Falleti 10 to lead the way for Notre Dame.

Isabella Groves scored 15 and Addison Dillenbeck 12 to pace Lyndonville.

Lyndonville will next host Albion in a non league game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kaitlin Mettler scored 21, Courtney Aquilina 17 and Adella Dukes 13 to lead Roy-Hart to a 57-44 non league win at JFK.

Boys Basketball
Pal-Mac 64, Albion 43

Palmyra-Macedon posted a 64-43 win over visiting Albion in a non league boys basketball game this evening.

Tyler Cody led Albion with 22 as Wesley Olles added 7 and Nate Gibson 6.

Notre Dame 66, Barker 38

Anthony Taliaferro scored 10 and Owen Harris 9 for Barker in a 66-38 non league loss to visiting Notre Dame.
