Indians, Yankees post youth baseball wins

The Champs Mini Mart Indians blanked the RoyHart Yankees 5-0 with a combined effort by pitchers Luke Duffina, Lex Gray and Aidan Papaj as well as good defense plays by Duffina and Treyden Rhim.
Gray had a single and a triple with 3 RBI’s and Clayton Wagner single and a Double with 2 RBI’S to lead the Indians offense attack. Luke Duffina, Jacob Duffina, Treyden Rhim Mason Berry, and Zach Graham each had a single.
MTA Yankees 13, Somerset Dodgers 5
The MTA Yankees bested the Somerset Dodgers 13 -5 Tuesday as Brody Fry led batting 4 for 4 with 3 singles, 1 double and had 5 RBI’s. Cole Callard had 2 singles and scored a 2 runs and Jackson Schultz 2 hits and also scored 2 runs. Henry Rigerman added 2 singles and scored a run, Cameron Kenward had a double, a single, 1 RBI and scored a run, Michael Chisler a single and 1 RBI, Aiden Wisniewski a hit and scored 2 runs, Aidan Allen a hit and RBI, Colton Smith a hit and scored a run, and Seth Micalizzo scored a run.
On the mound Fry pitched first 3 innings allowing only 1 run and striking out 6 batters. Callard finished the game pitching 8 strikeouts over the last 3 innings.
