A marathon 13 run third inning scoring explosion keyed Medina to a 14-10 victory over host Albion this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League baseball game.

Trailing 4-0, Medina moved on top to stay at 13-4 in the decisive third inning which included two-run singles by Lucas Porter and Jared Zinkievich, an RBI single by Alex Allis, 7 walks, 3 errors, a single by Brett Riemer and an RBI sacrifice fly by Justin Morgan.

Allbion did battle back with a five-run fifth inning highlighted by a three-run triple by Nate Moore, an RBI double by Brady Meakin and a run producing single by Jared Fearby but the Purple Eagles would get no closer than 14-10.

The loss drops Albion to 7-2 and a game behind Roy-Hart which improved to 8-1 by sweeping a doubleheader from CSAT by scores of 14-0 and 13-0.
