Huge 1st quarter ignites Mustangs romp

Exploding out to a huge 11-0 first quarter lead, Medina went on to defeat Newfane 20-1 in a Class D Division lacrosse game this evening at Vets Park.
Improving to 5-3 in the division and 7-4 overall, Medina went on to lead by margins of 18-0 at the half and 19-1 after three quarters,
Cayden Lilleby scored 5 goals, Chris Leavitt 4, Josh Wilson 3 and Dylan Lonnen 2 to lead the Mustangs attack.
In all 11 players netted goals for the Mustangs as Cole Callard, Liam Castricone, Trey Skinner, Nathan Cavers, Noah Skinner and Lucius Wagner each chipped in with 1.
Medina next visits Lockport on Monday for a non league game.
