Host Tigers capture “Battle in the Ville” Duals

Going 5-0 on the day, the host Tigers took top honors at the “Battle in the Ville” Duals Wrestling Tournament held today at Lyndonville.

The Tigers defeated CSAT 69-6, Campbell-Savona 60-18, McQuaid 52-16, Holley-Kendall 47-20 and St. Mary’s, Lancaster 63-12.

St. Mary’s finished in second place at 4-1 and Holley-Kendall third at 3-2.

Holley-Kendall defeated Byron-Bergen 51-12, Eastridge 48-23 and McQuaid 39-19 but lost to St. Mary’s 42-36.

Lyndonville had five wrestlers earn spots on the All-Tournament team including Christian Garver (118), Noah Neff (145), Sebastian Temich (152), Payton Grabowski (172) and Maddox Stirk (189).

Holley-Kendall was represented on the All-Tourney team by Brendon Eichas (102) and Bruce Rasmusson (110).
