Host team sets the pace in Barker’s annual summer 7 on 7 field hockey league

Contributed Photos – Barker 1 recently captured the playoff championship in the Barker Summer 7 on 7 Field Hockey League with a 4-2 win over Barker 2. Barker 1 also placed first during the regular season at 5-0-1 in the league which also included teams from Medina and Roy-Hart. The Barker 1 lineup included, from left Mia Herman, Ashlin Cole, Lena Fazzolari, Addison Szafranski, Kaedynce Schumacher, Ella Fox, Ella Taylor, Ginger Alexander. Missing from the photo are Anna Bowerman, Katrina Clare, Jackie Engert, Sophia Gerhardt, Ella Gooding and Megan Hotaling. 

The Barker 2 and Medina teams in the 7 on 7 league are shown here. The Barker 2 squad included, in front, Macie May, Madelina Pavlock, Madilyn Detschner and Aaliyah Wheat. In back are Abby Socie, Brianna Bachman, Rachel Hurtgam, Natalie Bruning and Courtney Hillman. Missing from the photo are Natalie Brandel, Keira Dalton, Miya Goodale, Ciara Gregoire and Serena Harris. The Medina lineup included, in front, Ava Blount, Sophia Castricone, Abby Blount and Mary Flores. In back are Addison Taylor, Braelin Talyor, Hannah Kenward, Sophia Cardone and Adeline Castricone.
