Limited to just four hits, Medina dropped a 10-4 decision to Oakfield-Alabama this afternoon in a non league baseball game at Vets Park.

Trailing 4-2, Oakfield-Alabama rallied into the lead for good by scoring five times in the fifth inning on a combination of four hits and two errors.

Tyler Ames had a two-run single to highlight a four run third inning which gave Medina a brief 4-1 lead.

However, Josh Scroger, Sam Crowley and Devonte Howard had Medina’s only other hits.

Defensively, the Mustangs turned a double play from shortstop Jason Hellwig to first baseman Matt Riemer.

Now at 2-6 overall, Medina next hosts Albion at 4:45 Monday in a key Niagara-Orleans League contest.
