HORNELL – In a clash of two teams seeking that elusive first victory of the season, Hornell rallied in the second half to defeat Holley 18-7 Thursday evening in a non league contest.

Holley grabbed a 7-6 half-time advantage on a 50 yard touchdown run by Kevin Avery and an extra point kick by Justin Parker.

However, the Hawks were unable to reach the end-zone again as Hornell rallied for two second half touchdowns to claim the win.

Holley next hosts CG Finney in a season ending non league game at 1 p.m. on Nov. 2.
