Homecoming win for Medina/Lyndonville

Celebrating Lyndonville’s Homecoming, Medina/Lyndonville blanked Niagara Catholic 4-0 this afternoon in a non league boys soccer game.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on a pair of goals by Kristian Snyder, the first off an assist from Vassilious Bitsas and the second from Nick Albone.

Snyder later competed his hat-trick with a second half goal off an assist from Ethan Leonard.

Dylan Nicholson rounded out the Medina/Lyndonville scoring on the Tigers field with a goal off an assist from Leonard.

Jacob Hoffee earned the shutout in goal.

Improving to 8-3 overall, Medina next visits front-running Newfane in a Niagara-Orleans League contest next Wednesday.
