Homecoming honors Albion’s ’83 title team
Photo by Cheryl Werman – Players and coaches from Albion’s 1983 Section VI championship football team were honored at halftime of this evening’s Homecoming game. The ’83 squad compiled a perfect 9-0 record capped off by a 35-6 sectional title win over Silver Creek. Players attending included Mickey Edwards, Davis Rustay, Scott Young, Chris Quackenbush, John Greer, Dan Bartlett, Omer Fugate, John Zavitz, John Doyle, Allen Grimble, Jason Zicari, Darrell Owens and Steve Bragg. The coaches attending included Keith Piccirilli, Gary Mannella and head Coach Dick Diminuco.
