Holley’s Bennage wins Class B3 tennis title
Contributed Photo – Holley’s Cavan Bennage captured the Section V Class B3 Individual Tennis Championship today. He entered the tournament as the #2 seed. In route to his championship he had a first round bye, then defeated Mason Cadeux of Oakfield-Alabama 10-7, Nate Cole of Cuba-Rushford 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals, and Preston Tobolski of Oakfield-Alabama 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the finals. Cavan qualified to play Thursday in the State Qualifier at Brockport High School. Kendall’s Devin Edick placed third in the Class B3 singles. Kendall’s doubles team of Tobias Passer and Joshua Esposito placed third. The Kendall netters have also qualified for the state qualifier.
