Oakfield-Alabama rallies past Lyndonville in 7th

Holley/Kendall edged past host Attica 3-2 this afternoon to improve to 3-0 in Genesee Region League baseball action.

Dylan Hillabush had a big day both on the mound and at the plate for the Hawks. On the mound he scattered 7 hits and struck out 13. At the plate he banged out 3 hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs.

Cody Spellan added 2 hits for the Hawks which next host Oakfield-Alabama on Tuesday.

Oakfield-Alabama 6, Lyndonvile 5
Errors keyed a three run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning as Oakfield-Alabama trimmed Lyndnvlle 6-5 in the G-R opener for the Tigers.

An RBI hit by Jordan D’Alba drove in the deciding run for the Hornets.

Dawson Joy and Eric Neace both had 3 hits and Cody Bentley and Michael Wells 2 each for Lyndonville. Wells banged out two-run singles in both the fifth and sixth innings to help the Tigers build up a 5-3 lead.
