Holley wins sectional opener in 8 innings
No. 7 seed Holley nipped No. 10 North Rose-Wolcott 3-2 this afternoon in the opening round of the Section V Class C1 baseball playoffs.
Mike Passarell singled in the winning run for Holley in the 8th.
The Hawks other 2 runs came in the third as Collin Papaj doubled and Ryan Andrews singled.
Sammy Lammes picked up the win on the mound for Holley.
