Holley wins in OT; Kendall downs B-B
Holley nipped host Pembroke 1-0 in overtime and Kendall bested visiting Byron-Bergen 5-2 in Genesee Region League boys soccer competiton this evening.
Cameron Bates scored the game winning goal in overtime for Holley off an assist from Cavan Bennage.
Broek Ostrom earned the shutout in goal making 10 saves.
Kendall jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead over Byron-Bergen on two goals by Louis Conte and one by Michael McCue.
Conte finished his hat-trick with a second half goal. Josh Esposito netted the Eagles other second half goal as McCue finished with three assists.
Kendall is now 7-1-1 in G-R action.
