Holley U17 booters off to fast start
Holley’s U17 boys team blanked Attica 3-0 Tuesday to improve to 4-0 in Rochester District Soccer League action.
Derek McArthur, Zander Apicella and Bailey Schubmehl took turns scoring the goals for Holley which recorded its third shutout in four starts.
Previously, Holley defeated Mt. Morris/Dansville 4-0, Genesee Valley 3-2 and Pavilion 7-0. Andrew Cary scored the three goal hat-trick against Pavilion.
Holley’s U15 boys squad evened their record at 2-2 by edging Bloomfield 2-1 on Tuesday as Ryan Moseman and Matthew DeSimone scored the goals.
In their earlier games, Holley defeated Byron-Bergen 2-1 but lost to Mt. Morris/Dansville 4-2 and to Spencerport 8-0.
Albion U19 is 1-1
Albion’s boys U19 team is off to a 1-1 start in Rochester League action after defeating Churchville 2-0 and losing to Victor 4-1.
Aaron Gaytan and Jacob Squicciarini scored the goals for Albion against Churchville.
Alejandro (Kiwi) Ocampo scored in the first half for Albion Tuesday against Victor which rallied for four tallies in the second half to claim the win.
Kendall U15 girls are 1-1-1
The Kendall U15 girls team is off to a 1-1-1 start to the season in the Rochester League.
Kendall has defeated the Cobras 2-1 on a pair of goals by Taylor ReQua, tied Livonia 1-1 on a goal by Katelyn Sidoti and lost to Spencerport 3-1. ReQua netted the lone goal in that contest.
