Holley U16 girls rally for win

Holley U16, Albion U14 boys squads score victories

Rallying for three goals in the final 12 minutes, Holley nipped visiting Churchville 3-2 this evening in a Rochester Disrict Soccer League girls U16 Division game.

Trailing 2-0, Holley came battling back late as goals by Dana Frisbee and Courtney Winkley tied the game. Alexis Milazzo then scored the game winner with just a minute to go to complete Holley’s huge comeback.

The victory boosts Holley’s record to 5-2-2 heading into a rematch at Churchville on Wednesday.

Boys Soccer

Holley 2, Webster 0

Improving to 6-1-3, Holley blanked host Webster 2-0 in a U16 contest on goals by Gaje Papponetti and Eric Bayls.

Albion 12, LeRoy 2

Getting goals from six different players, Albion romped to a 12-2 victory over visiting LeRoy this evening in a boys U14 Division game.

Jeff Sherwood scored four goals and Kendyll Hadick three to lead the Albion attack. Mike Keeler added two goals as Bradley Sanford, Hayden Pecoraro and Preston Flugel each netted one.

Albion improves to 5-2-2.
