Albion U17 girls win opener

Jumping out to an early lead, Holley’s U15 boys squad went on to blank visiting Pittsford 4-0 this evening in a Rochester District Soccer League game.
Holley took charge in the opening couple of minutes on a goal by Matt DiSimone.
The Holley advantage jumped to 3-0 before half-time on tallies by Anthony Cardenas-Ramirez and Andrew Moseman.
Matt Skehan netted a second half goal for Holley which improves to 3-2.
Albion U17 girls win opener
The Albion U17 girls squad opened the season this evening with a 4-2 victory at Byron-Bergen in a Rochester District contest.
Mikayla Yaskulski scored two goals for Albion as Ally Page and Emily Blanchard each netted one.
Albion opens the home portion of its schedule at 6:30 p.m. Thursday against Greece United.
Albion U12 in tourney
The Albion girls U12 team competed in the Spencerport Tournament over the weekend going 1-2 defeating Kendall 4-0 and losing to Brockport and Hamburg.
Claire Squicciarini had two goals for Albion against Kendall as Kendall Derisley and Alexis Creasey both netted one.

Ali Knaak, Squicciarini and Abbie Pappalardo each earned game MVP honors during the tourney which also saw Sydney Mulka turn in a strong effort in goal.
Albion U19 bows
Playing shorthanded, the Albion boys U19 team lost 3-1 to Fairport over the weekend.
Zack Scanlon scored the lone goal for Albion.
Medina U19 nipped twice
The Medina U19 boys squad has dropped a pair of narrow one goal decisions on the road over the past two days in Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League action..
Medina lost 3-2 to the Niagara Pioneer Arsenal on Sunday and 2-1 to the Aurora Arsenal this evening.
Steven Anderson and Barry Rogenmoser each scored a goal for Medina against Niagars while Josh Baptiste netted the lone tally against Aurora.
Medina U17 shutout
The Medina boys U17 team lost 8-0 to the Yemen Warriors on Sunday at Lyndonville.
