Holley trio signs to play soccer in college

Contributed Photo – This trio of Holley High seniors have signed letters of intent to continue their education and their soccer careers at the collegiate level. From left are Samantha Bates who will be attending Keuka College, Jailyn Bishop who will be playing for SUNY Cortland and Emma Brady who will be attending D’Youville University. Bates will be majoring in Sports Management and Business, Bishop in Exercise Science and Brady in Nursing. The trio, who each earned Genesee Region League All-Star honors, helped lead Holley to an historic soccer season last fall. The Lady Hawks captured a Section V title for the first time since 1994 and the Far West Regional title in their first appearance in the state tournament. Bates had a team leading 29 goals and 10 assists on the season, Bishop 11 goals and 13 assists and Brady 9 goals and 9 assists.
