Holley trio earns All Tournament honors
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Three Holley players have been named to the Section V Class C1 All-Tournament soccer team. They include, from left, Emma Brady, Jailyn Bishop and Samantha Bates. Holley advanced to the C1 final where the Lady Hawks dropped a 3-1 decision to top seed Gananda. Bishop netted the Lady Hawks goal. Holley reached the final by downing York/Pavilion 4-0 in the quarterfinals and Geneseo 2-1 in the semifinals. Bates scored 3 goals and Brady 1 against York/Pavilion, Bates also netted both goals against Geneseo. Holley finished the season at 16-3-1.
