Holley seeks JV Division youth football title

Fresh from avenging their lone loss of the season, the Holley Jr Hawks JV Division football team will seek their first playoff championship when they face Batavia in the Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) JV Division final at 1 p.m. Saturday at Medina’s Vets Park.

Holley, which brings a 9-1 record into the final edged Newfane 38-35 in the semifinals last Saturday to avenge a 36-35 regular season loss.

Hunter Smith scored 3 touchdowns for the Hawks in the semis as William Kludt and Michael Wells also each scored a TD. Josh Silpoch added three two-point conversions and Smith had a pair of extra points.

The other two playoff finals will have Batavia vs. Newfane in the Mini Division and Batavia vs. Tri Town in the Varsity Division.
