Holley posts win over Attica
Building up a 36-21 half-time advantage, Holley went on to defeat visiting Attica 71-64 in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game this evening.
Broek Ostrom scored 40, James Tette 16 and Erik Lang 12 for Holley which improves to 8-10.
Cole Harding scored 19 and Adam Bukowski 15 for Attica.
In other G-R action, Alexander nipped visiting Kendall 58-57 and Elba downed host Lyndonville 73-36.
Dylan Pohl scored 17, Trent Woods 12 and Clayton Bezon 11 for Alexander which held narrow leads of 29-28 at the half and 43-41 after three quarters.
Zach Barrett scored 24 and Jacek Kwiatkowski 15 for Kendall.
The Eagles did pull to within one late, first at 56-55 after a three by Braxton Zarpentine and again at 58-57 after two free throws by Kwiatkowski, but could not pull even.
Noah Poler scored 22 for Lyndonville which trailed Elba by margins of 36-13 at the half and 55-23 after three quarters.
