Holley-Kendall is second at Springville Duals
Going 4-1 on the day, Holley-Kendall earned second place honors today at the Springville Duals wrestling tournament.
Holley-Kendall defeated Salamanca 78-9, North Tonawanda 54-36, Sweet Home 60-21 and Wilson 69-18 but lost to Williamsvile North 46-36.
Jayden Pieniaszek went 5-0 on the day for the Hawks while Tristyn Moyer, David Farruggia, Brandon Gardner, Dawson Custer, Jeremy Browe, Braxton Leary-Hart and Dylan Spellan were all 4-1, Nate Silversmith 3-1 and Erik Balys, Riley Hirschman and Chad Miller 3-2.
Churchville-Chili Tournament
Lyndonville competed in the Churchville-Chili Tournament today and the Tigers went 0-5 in the team competition.
Individaully for the Tigers, Jeff Gress Jr. went 5-0 including earning his milestone 150th career victory, Dustin Joy 4-1 and Frank Carrasquillo and Chase Stinson 3-2.
Batavia Tournament
Medina’s Colby Petrie went 3-2 on the day and placed third at 113 pounds at the Batavia Tournament.
