Holley takes second at Cal-Mum Tourney

Going 4-1, Holley placed second at the Caledonia-Mumford Wrestling Tournament today.

Holley defeated Kendall 72-12, Wilson Magnet 76-6, Pavilion 72-12 and Cal-Mum 60-21 but lost to Avon 49-33.

Nick Shenck, Braxton Leary-Hart and Austen Vroman all went 5-0 on the day for Holley as Nathan Schoonmaker, Brandon Gardner, Erik Balys, Dalton Moyer, Pat Purtell, Zach Day and Ross Pinson all went 4-1.

Holley next hosts Byron-Bergen at 6 p.m. Tueaday for Senior Day and Staff Day.

Victor Tournament

Albion went 4-1 at the Victor Tournament.

Tim Drake went 5-0 for Albion including four pins.

Blake Aina, Ricky Monroe and Preston Flugel all went 4-1 for the Purple Eagles while Tim Wolcott and Tim Wells were both 3-2.

Alexander Tournament

Placing sixth as a team, Lyndonville had a quintet of individual weight class place finishers at the Alexander Tournament.

Reese Ledford, Cullen Heveron and Dustin Hinkley all placed second for the Tigers as Jeff Gress Jr. and Tom Follman both took third.

Ledford, Heveron, Hinkley and Gress all went 4-1 and Follman 3-2.
