Holley battled to a 3-3 double overtime tie with visiting Pembroke this evening in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Trailing 1-0 at the half, Holley rallied into a 2-1 lead as Andrew Cary scored off an assist from Derek McArthur and then John Mounts tallied from Cary.

However, Pembroke regained a 3-2 lead on a pair of goals by Jamil Marable.

Holley though battled back again as McArthur netted the tying goal on a penalty kick with three minutes to go in regulation time.

Neither team could find the net in the two 10 minute overtime periods.

Holley is now 4-1-3 and Pembroke 4-3-1 in G-R action.

Byron-Bergen/Elba 4, Kendall 3

A big second half rally fell just short as Kendall (2-4-1) dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to G-R leader Byron-Bergen/ Elba (6-1-1).

Trailing 3-0 at the half, Kendall battled all the way back into a 3-3 tie on two goals by Nate Warters and one by Michael Gardner. Jake Adams assisted on two of those tallies.

However, B-B pulled out the win in dramatic fashion as Chase Felton scored in the final 10 seconds.
