Holley netters post win over Byron-Bergen

Holley downed Byron-Bergen 4-1 this afternoon to improve to 5-2 in Genesee Region League tennis action.

Cavan Bennage won at first singles and James Tette at second singles for Holley which also got victories from the doubles teams of Mason Neale – Drew Carlston and Kirsstin – Louise Althoff – Ashanty Gonzalez.

In another G-R match, Alexander downed Kendall 3-2 to improve to 7-1.

Wins by Kyle Dehelys and Austin Kwitowski at the first two singles spots led the way for Alexander while Gabriel Prest won at third singles for Kendall.

Akron 5, Roy-Hart 0
Having already locked up a fourth straight title, Akron shutout Roy-Hart 5-0 this afternoon to improve to 11-0 in N-O tennis competition.

Will Chubb, Caleb Suckow and Emma Corbett all scored singles wins to lead the way for Akron.

The Tigers also got wins from the doubles teams of Sean Brennan – Sean OShaughnessy and Will Akin – Mason Towlson.

In other N-O matches, Barker trimmed Albion 3-2 to improve to 6-4 and Wilson (7-3) edged Newfane (4-5) 3-2 1/2.

Barker got wins from the doubles teams of Cameron Kiner – Aidan Mescall and Kevin Hadsell – Levi Hauser and from Willard Nellist at third singles.

Albion, which is now 5-5 took the first two singles spots on wins by Carson Bader and Leo Bolton.
