Holley netters blank Pembroke
Holley shutout Pembroke 5-0 this afternoon to improve to 6-1 in Genesee Region League tennis competition.
Aaron Strathearn, Cheyan Palmer and Kristina Yaroshchuk all scored singles wins for Holley.
The Hawks also got doubles victories from the duos of Dalton Thurley-Steven Morgan and Jake Peters-Austin Berns.
Akron 4, Albion 1 1/2
Akron, which has already locked up the Niagara-Orleans League title, stayed perfect at 11-0 with a 4-1 1/2 victory over Albion (7-4).
Nate Chubb won at first singles and Will Chubb at third to set the pace for Akron.
The Tigers also took the first two doubles matches with wins by the teams of Morgan Wdowka-Skyler Earle and Maggie Leeds-Harry Fitzgerald.
Victor Benjovsky won at second singles for Albion which also took the third doubles with the duo of Josh Riley and Sara Hillman.
