Holley matmen place second at Eastridge
Going 4-1, Holley placed second at the Eastridge Duals wrestling tournament today.
Holley opened the tournament by defeating Wilson Magnet 75-0, Brockport 48-39 and East 75-12.
The Hawks then defeated Eastridge 48-31 in the semifinals but lost a narrow 44-39 decision to Canandaigua in the title match.
Nick Shenck, Patrick Purtell and Zach Day all went 5-0 and Ross Pinson 4-0 on the day for Holley as Erik Balys, Braxton-Leary Hart , Cameron Thorn and Austen Vroman were 4-1 and Nate Schoonmaker, Chris Yockel and Dalton Moyer 3-2.
